What is EQuinox?
Quite simply, we are the official magazine of EverQuest II and are the first print magazine ever to be solely dedicated to the world of Norrath. We try to cover everything of interest to the EQII community, feature news of events from within the land of Norrath, explore the larger EQII community outside of the game, and go behind the scenes at SOE to bring you exclusive reports on upcoming additions to the game.
Doesn’t the EQII internet community do most of that already?
The difference is the depth of information and style of presentation that a print magazine can bring. Our editorial team makes sure that we’re not just bringing generic guides to basic game features, but exceedingly in-depth articles that really enhance your EQII experience.
Why a magazine?
We feel that there’s nothing that quite replicates the feeling of holding a glossy, professionally-designed and produced, collectible, hard copy magazine in your hands. Having an experienced editorial team at the helm – all professionally trained journalists as well as hardcore gamers and EQII fans – also means that articles and features are put through strict quality control guidelines before seeing the light of day. Ultimately we think the game and the players of EQII will benefit from EQuinox.
Are you a division of SOE?
MMM Publishing is the world’s largest independent publisher of dedicated online gaming magazine, with over 150 man-years of publishing experience. Although we work in conjunction with SOE on producing EQuinox, we work from a standpoint on editorial independence.
How can I purchase a copy? I can’t see it on the newsstands…
EQuinox is sold exclusively online through the Station Store by SOE. Each issue is sent via first-class mail on the day of order after the pre-order period ends. Also, prior to each issue’s on sale date, you can pre-order EQuinox to ensure first-run delivery. Remember, each issue has a limited print run, so make sure you get your order in early to avoid missing out. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!
I ordered EQuinox, got my issue and think it’s great. Who do I contact to offer my undying praise and suggest ideas to?
You are obviously a person of extremely good taste and sensitivity and we’d love to hear from you. Click here to send a letter to the editor.
Why do I have to wait for a mail delivery? Can’t I download a digital version?
For now, we’re focusing exclusively on a lovingly-crafted, offline collectible edition. However, we haven’t ruled out making digital PDF versions available at some point in the future.
I ordered a copy of EQuinox and it never arrived? Who do I contact?
